About Patliputra University::
  • Patliputra University (PPU) is a collegiate public state university located in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established by an act of the state legislature in 2018. As a collegiate university, its main functions are divided between the academic departments of the university and affiliated colleges.
  • Faculties and departments: Patna University has 30 departments organised into eight faculties: Science, Humanities, Commerce, Social Sciences, Education, Law, Fine Arts and Medicine

Who can Apply
  • Students who have passed the Related trade Examination from Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or any other national / state boards or Govt. Recognise Universityare eligible to apply online for admission.

    Students can apply in online Common Application Form (available on www.ppup.ac.in and can be accessed from any place where Internet facility is available. The application fee for the online admission is Rs.600/ OR RS.450‐ the mode of payment has been described in Admission Notice.
